Welcome to the 2023 Photo Contest! We invite all photography enthusiasts to capture the beauty of Oconee County through their lens and showcase their talent. 

 

Contest Rules:

• Photos must feature subjects from Oconee County, including people, places, or things.

• All submitted photos must be the original work of the applicant and owned by them.

• Photos should not have been previously submitted in any KOBA photo contests.

• Minor digital enhancements are allowed, including cropping, dust removal, dodging & burning, sharpening, contrast adjustments, toning, slight color corrections, and grayscale conversion.

 

Prizes: 

• Three winning photographs will be selected by third-party judge. Each winner will receive a $100 award.

 

Submission Deadline: 

• The deadline for photo submissions is Friday, September 29, 2023, at 4:00 PM. 

 

Submission Guidelines:

• Each applicant can submit up to three (3) photos.

• An entry fee of $5 is required for each submitted image. 

• FOR IN-PERSON SUBMISSIONS: On a 8 1/2 X 11" paper, write the following and attach to the back of each photo: Your Name, Address, Phone, E-mail; Photo Title, Photo Description, and Signature. Mail your entry fee of $5.00 per photo to KOBA, P.O. Box 1491, Seneca, SC 29679. By submitting your photos and your signature, you agree to release them to KOBA for promotional use, including reproduction and sale.

• FOR ELECTRONIC SUBMISSIONS: Follow the directions for in-person submissions (above), but send a scan or snapshot of the page to kobaphotos1491@gmail.com. Send one page for each of your photos submitted. Mail your entry fee of $5.00 per photo to KOBA, P.O. Box 1491, Seneca, SC 29679.By submitting your photos and your signature, you agree to release them to KOBA for promotional use, including reproduction and sale.
